What's in an Electron?
Physicists came up with the idea or theory of what might be inside these party protons and neutrons before they observed them. One of these theories was for something called a cork, physicists have this tradition of giving whimsical names to pretty deep and complicated things. Corks are among the things able for electrical charges that make proton and neutron different from each other. There must be something different about the quarks, and now we know what that is. But can we build an even bigger and better particle accelerator to smash those things apart? That's an excellent question.
