The S&P 500 Is Down 12% Year to Date
The S&P 500 at year to date is down over 20%. It's been one of those quiet sorts of declines that people don't even notice as it's happening. Joe Biden is promising to give South Africa $8 billion for them to shut down their coal power plants. If someone has a time horizon that's as short as one or two years, you probably don't belong in equities to begin with.
