The Secession of the Art Institute of Vienna
There's a period when the new style seems to be identified with that kind of project of government but it fails um partly because they kind of chicken out. The secession happened in uh in 1897 and yeah well it was precipitated by sort of conservative takeover of the artist's organizations. There were various controversies which we might talk about in the bonus of swim more of the big one is around climped paintings for the university.
