IV Magnesium for Critically Ill Patients
Despite the guidelines recommending IV magnesium, we're not saying don't use it. It's reasonable to give with a grain of salt at the back of your mind, whether or not it will work. And that if we're going to be strictly evidence based about it, there really is not enough evidence out there to support what the guidelines are telling us. That is yes, there is not there is definitely not enough evidence.
