The History of HP's Chip Division

Agilent would go on to spin off into another five or six companies, life sciences, test and measurement. And buried deep inside of all that was HP's chip division. At this point, it wasn't even really making them any semiconductors. It was mostly making passive electrical components, capacitors, resistors and filters.
