The Trade Minister's Visit to China to Try to Convince Beijing to Lift the Rest of the Export Restrictions Installed at the Outbreak of the Pandemic

China has been slowly easing some of the trade barriers that slapped on Australian goods with coal, copper and cotton now back to normal. The government is now hoping barley tariffs will be dropped along with restrictions on wine and lobsters. Don Farrell, who's the Trade Minister, he's the second senior Australian Minister to travel to China since Beijing lifted a sort of a diplomatic freeze against Australia in 2022.
