Inequality of Outcome Is the Norm, Not the Exception

There are lots of inequalities in our society. In fact, thereare more inequalities than there are equalities between ethnic groups. The only way to overcome thekind of racial disparities fed vis history has led to is to discriminate on the basis of race. If we insist on race blindes, we essentially, as the critics claim, condemn ourselves to living in a society in which outcomes for different groups are going to continue to be grosly unequal for a long time.
