The Impetus for Massachusetts Education Reform
It's just fascinating that more states are enacting promotion tests for younger kids now, I would imagine that the rhetoric is something like we better make sure that they're on grade level by the end of the second grade. Just last August, our education elites voted to make the graduation standard tougher and what was interesting was that they had to subject this to a public process and solicit feedback but there was nobody who thought it was a good idea.
