The five foolish bridesmaids were not there to be left in, right? Because they're out hustling and trying to get some oil because they listened to others bad advice. So it totally makes sense to me that the door was shut maybe by someone else who didn't want everyone coming in. But when the five foolish ones come back, we don't know who it is that denies them entry.
