"It was kind of a fine line, because in many scenes, I'm trying to do a very minimalistic, not like a Mr. Bean type thing," he says. "I wound up doing a big reshoot, where I think I fixed some of it." The actor is interested in the film's specific tone and how that plays out on the page when you're writing for an audience. He also talks about working with director Tom Hanks as well as co-stars John Malkovich and Amy Adams.
