How I Found My Way Into the Niche of Science

Finnish linguist Jussi Mäkinen started studying English at the start of third grade. As soon as he encountered linguistics, "I immediately knew that that was that is really what I was looking for" He wanted to do an exchange year in the US already as a high school student but it would have been extremely expensive. So then when you are in university, they have exchanged programs with US universities. And so after applying for one of those fellowships she did.
