Post Apocalyptic Books

I just finished bewilderment by Richard Powers which is not technically post apocalyptic. It's a very personal story about a father, a single father trying to raise his autistic son. But it was incredibly moving and really depressing but also like canacle for Liba Woods had that nugget of hope in there that made it really beautiful. If you're a fan of the fallout video games, apparently I watched a lecture where they said that explicitly that they were influenced by a canonical fruit for Leibowitz so if you're a fans of those games, entice you to give it a try.
