The Opposite of Progress
Jason Sweatt: It's hard to say what constitutes progress. I don't think you're going to find a clear bright line in between stabbing someone and mimicking violence because there are just too many bits of complexity to it, too many ways to change. And then we get into philosophical questions like, are all kinds of violence bad all the time? He says if you need to protect somebody from violence by invoking violence yourself, that's not bad.
