How Barry Deals With Childhood Sexual Abuse
Berry lopez wrote an essay about the sexual abuse he suffered as a child. He was raped by a fraudulent medical doctor from age seven to 11. The one thing that calmed barry during those years of abuse was contact with the natural world. But even the healing power of nature was not enough to quell the lasting drama.
