Bella Hazan's Story
Bella Hazan helped dig a tunnel to smuggle Jewish girls into the Polish and German part of Auschwitz-Bücknell. She was moved around various concentration camps as the Soviet advance continued. Finally, she was sent to Tachar, part of the Wukenwald camp when it was evacuated in April 1945. Her last words to her mother were: 'You will survive. You will tell our story'
