Canabas - The Neuro Chemical System
In 88, we discovered that thereare actual recep ors that thc fits into. And the question immediately was, why were they there, and where are they? We mapped those receptors inn 19 90, and found out that they're most concentrated in areas that make a lot of sense when you look at what cannabas does. For one example, everyone knows that cannabas can affect our our short term memory. These receptors are very concentrated in an area called hippo pus, which is where we make scratch pad memory, our initial memory. So it's got to be a pretty pervasively important neuro chemical system.
