The Tour de France starts in the Basque country and heads northeast. It spends a lot of time in the mountains, obviously, in the Alps. There's certain places that always get a tour stage - such as Po. The same teams often stay at the same hotel year after year. He thinks of Nico Portale when he gets to his old hotel: "How many times have you been there?"
