Mac Jones Regression - Is That a Competitive Advantage?
If you have a guy that can play and Mac Jones showed that he could play as a rookie, it is a competitive advantage. The franchise tag for a quarterback in 2025 will be $45 million. By 2025 the Patriots either have to get them on a new deal or say Tata. And then the variance pick up the fifth year option. On Mac Jones, his salaries are going to go from 4.25 this year to 4.95 and 2024.
