The Collective Unconscious

The collective unconscious is not one thing. It exists at each level of social identification. There's a constellation of symbols and meanings that you share with all mankind, and then others that you share only with your family, and then everything in between. And then finally may be pictured as the flower or the fruit of the entire production, the one person culture, youno. This is the way to understand what the great psychologist, karl young meant when he spoke of the archetypes of the collective unconscious.
