When i set out to write a new contemporary, contemporary romance series about a group of female friends, illustrated covers were suddenly popping up everywhere. I knew better than to try and draw the characters myself, so i hired artists to do the illustrations for me. The other rebellion with this series is that not all the relationships are straight. One of my m cs is by and the other is trans. And of course, i couldn't leave them out. Oh, i love that they'll be getting there happy ever after, just like my straight characters,. mixing relationship orientations in a romance series isn't really done, but i think it should be more common.
