texas is claiming that you can fit social meeting companies into a box called common carriers. There's a lot of problems with this theory, primarily that social media companies are not just taking speech from person a to person b. So the challengers have so far successfully argued social media platforms are a lot closer to a newspaper or a t v channel than they are to a telephone company.
