The Effects of Pulsteroids on Neuropsychiatric SLEA

A study of 400 patients with neuropsychiatric SLEA was conducted in Japan. Half were treated with intrathecal methotrexate plus intrathecal dexamethasone, 10 milligrams. Compared to those who only received IV pulsteroids at another era, the bottom line is that there was a slightly greater degree of lupus activity in the intrathecal meethotrexate decadron group.
