The US's Strategic Ambiguity in Defense of Taiwan
The US for decades had the policy known as strategic ambiguity, which meant it wouldn't say one way or another if China attacked Taiwan. President Biden has said several times now that he would defend Taiwan. That's not an official change in US policy, but it's his administration's policy. They're talking about going to war with China nuclear power.
