Surah, Asura and Raksas

There are three words you come across in our Purana, Surah, Asura and Raksas. If you really see from Vedantic perspective, Surah are the people who have these most such predomins in their personalities as the Surah. We want to do things, accomplish things, show off things. Ramana is the great example of Raksasas. It was very powerful, very accomplished in all arts and knowledge, but he wanted to show off. So, that's RaksAsas. And we think that there were three tribes, Sura, Devas, then there are Asuras and there are Raksass.
