The more detail a story is given, the more representative it seems of what you are sitting there in the courtroom. A jury can project their own experiences onto this blank slate of a person that I happen to be. The bias towards interpreting things that have an innocent explanation for the sake of having this like striking narrative explanatory weight definitely leans in that favor because it's more narratively interesting.
