The Lord's Supper: The Shepherds of Israel
Jude alludes back to ezekiel chapter 34, verses two and eight. Jude suggests that they may have been pastors. They are described as shepherds feeding themselves. This is likely an allusion to isaiah, chapter 57, verse 20. The wicked are like the tossing sea, for it cannot be quiet, and its waters toss up mire and dirt. Their finaldestinion is the inky blackness of god's wrath.
