Coaching Can Be a Form of Passive Aggression
When what we really need to do is give someone feedback. I see a lot of times questions being used as or of almost as a form of conflict, aversion. It can induce some resentment if you behave that way. Often when there's an emergency and there's just not time, or the stakes are incredibly high, those are moments where, metaphorically speaking, it's not a time to ask an open, honest question. That's a time to actually act.
