Machine Learning - Semi Supervised Learning

A new technique uses machine learning to look for signs of extraterrestrial life. Using data from the Green Bank telescope, researchers found eight signals that came from five different stars within 30 and 90 light years from Earth. But when they went back to those stars, the signals were not present. This is really a viable method for finding subtle candidate technosignatures because the world is awash in human generated interference.
