Vinegar is an unproven option for type 2 diabetes and the dosing is a bit of a difficult one as well. Because of the variability of the doses used in studies, it's hard to determine what dose would be adequate if it is going to have any effect whatsoever. One to two tablespoons of vinegar before meals is what I would experiment with if you were interested in experimenting with it. Don't just take a tablespoon of vinegar, dilute it in water because it can be very abrasive depending on the concentration of the acetic acid as well.
