The business of constitutional government is always going to be this very messy balancing act a. You need enough public power to be able to restrain the power of groups over their members. It's not as if if all the individuals were just left alone, there'd be no group conflicts as as causing all the problem. That is to say we're going to keep doing politic and the wish to do without it or do away with it is an unhealthy one.
