The Lord, Like the Good Figs and the Bad Flesh, I Will Treat Zedekiah
In chapter 24 of the Bible, jeremiah is prophesying about zedekiah. He's talking about how god will do surgery on his people and send them to babylon. The bad ones are those who stayed in jerusalem or went to egypt. Jeremiah was among those who had to go to egypt; he wasn't a "bad fig," but one that should have been deported.
