i think since 20 16, there's probably been maybe a steep increase in people talking about the impact that alberithms have. The obvious events that stick out like the 20 16 election and instagram transition to an albarythmically ranked feed. And what do you see as some of the most pressing issues when it comes to understanding how social media algorithms work? i want to start by asking im, e, remember when algorithms on social media were this slightly mysterious thing that just gave us more of what we wanted in our feeds? It still very much is that, but it's become so much more weighted.
