D wrote that his mam would always be very cautious, ike what she said to other people. And then when she was speaking like white people, ut of out of business, she would talk in an entirely different way. I think there's, like, i can only imagine your mam being t to your point, just switching up conversations. Sometimes it's driven why, like, fear of a negative thing happen. It's yo wanting to fit in. D and i think very early on, iwas like, man, this ist. An i sort of symbolism america, i get that its it makes me think of my mam actually, who i remember.
