Red hill is a massive fuel storage facility at pearl harbor that fuels ships in the us. Pacific fleet. Each of those tanks is about 18 stories high and holds about 13 million gallons of fuel. According to the navy's own studies, red hill has been leaking fuel into the ground for much its entire existence. The fear of that fuel reaching the fresh water oquifers is well known. Water officials like ernest low have been demanding the total shut down and relocation of this facility.
