Sellar Central - How to Reduce Headcount in a Team?

The majority of Amazon's platform business did not have much innovation needed. It was more about operational excellence, and so the company had to reduce head count in some areas. The biggest pivots i usually saw with those kinds of teams were a higher percent age of the projects that came from the engineering team when their head count was cut. I really like how that ties into the long term of thinking in ownership mentality and principle at amazon.
