The Adventures of a Geologist
Gail, I must say you have painted quite an adventurous picture of the life of a geologist. So can you share a story of your own of the human side of science or just a memory or an experience that you shared with people? Well I don't know if this story exactly fits that but it was just something that happened that gave me a whole new respect for what kind of dangers and what prominence might have experienced when they weren't living on the landscape occupying the same space as some of these large animals.
