Planting Into Gravel

CNN's John Sutter explains how to plant plants in a gravel bed. He says you don't use any tools, just rubber gloves and "the fog" The roots may touch the soil below, or they may not. You never want to bring that soil off into the gravel while you're planting because it could contain weed seeds.
