Is There a Survivist Mentality?

When we finally did move to be with our dad in texas, that's when we really sort of had, it's almost like opening the blinds to a room, and and saw what a family looks like. We didn't know how to articulate that, but we we knew that there had to be something more. And i don't think that i really understood that give us this day our daily bread meant, you know, studying and learning and really trying to understand the bible,. When we were little. There was divine intervention for of my sisters and i that was watching over us.

As she grew older, Victoria forged her own path by working for a faith-based organization, OneShare Health, as a way to combine her love of people and God. Catherine Wood has always kept faith at the heart of her life, but that faith has been tested through the financial ups and downs she’s faced throughout her investing career. After Cathie tried to navigate the financial peculiarities leading up to the 2008 economic crash, a member of her church introduced her to Jesus Calling, which Cathie’s read every day since. In 2014, Cathie founded her own company called ARK Invest, to find and fund transformative technologies that could change lives and make the world a better place.
