What's the Point of Clear Communication?

HLTA's are firmly part of the team, like Neil said. I always appreciated when I was picking up someone else's planning, I recognize that this was clearly like a simplified version of that lesson. If they haven't made an account of that, then it's going to be a lot more difficult to teach. Where possible, getting HLTA's involved a little bit in planning, if this is a regular thing. Sometimes it might be totally appropriate for you to plan a completely different lesson out altogether. Just writing down what children were going to do as it's extended and written properly can make a big difference. But those would be quite practical things that really supported me as an HLTA
