Book Review: Warfields Jarrett
I found that naming a convention so fronting. There's scenes early on where jarrett and his dad, harry, sit outside at night and they challenge each other to remember the lineage of great horses. And i've found that so upsetting, when you consider that these, these men, jarrett and harry, have been stripped of their names,. That has been lost. But that eratia is one of the things that i wanted fight in this book because it would have been very easy and a lot safer for me to have foregrounded the white characters.
