The Intuition of a Teacher

People confuse mastery for being reasonably well acquainted with something. They are psychologically blocked when told that they've always wanted to do is within reach and understanding that they have to go about it slightly differently than they were expecting. I am able to do this in my head. I can figure out how to deploy the tools I have, even if I don't have the tools that would be optimal. It's not something, it seems simple to me, but it isn't simple.
