Matt Welch: What Theranos did is basically what every Silicon Valley entrepreneur does. He says they fake it till you make it kick the can down the road, scam people as much as you have to. The model for all the Silicon Valley monsters that have emerged out of the post quantitative easing era has been adopted by them too, he says. Welch: They've diluted themselves into thinking as possible and then flying their balls off to keep the valuation up. And this one directly threatened people's lives.
