Labor have said they would give the ABO more power. That's definitely something that I would encourage them to do. You ask these guys who have got independence to say, what are the areas of investment spending that are going to create very strong, positive multipliers? And then that constrains not only the next government, but the government's afterwards to the sort of things you could legitimately spend on and therefore perfectly, happily borrow or another way of saying it.
