What Is Going on With Trevago?

Trevago posted a surprise profit in the third quarter. Revenue for the travel services company was also higher than expected. To me, trevago has always felt like a business that can't really make it on its own to me. This is a business that just needs to be a part of a bigger net works whether it's booking dot com or expedia.
