Diophacite Christianity - The Church of the East
Diophacite christianity flourished under moslem rule. The church of the east was used to arguing about the natures of christ with other christians and so adept at translating greek philosophy into its own syriac language. But steadily, bit by bit, this ture of christianity was eroded. Bishops in tibet found no successors,. monasteries in mongolia crumbled into dust. Islam faced all these disasters too. In the worst times, islam found more powerful friends in asia than the christians.
