The department of tele communications, however, doesn't seem too keen on ceding to the demand of telecom companies. They likely believe that this will foster more innovation and perhaps even birth entire parallel industry. So yes, for now, it seems the government is intent on pushing for private five g networks. We will have to wait and see how they will actually aable licensing.
