Is Open Source Really Important?

Even if you have an open source thing, maybe your code is in Python and it's talking to Postgres. Like RDS or Lambda, right? Well, it might still be running your Python. You can't just take it and run it somewhere else without rethinking all the little roots of things that's going into to hook into the other parts of the cloud there. And that's clearly not something you can take as an open Source thing and run with.
