I think it's important because if it was not for movies, I would have never been interested in history at all. Our history itself is so focused and centered around Delhi and North India. And when you say history of India, I think every part of India needs to get a place in it. Do we even know about the Northeast Kingdoms? We've not been heard of some of the names. So does that mean Assam doesn't belong to this country or the Northeast does not belong? Similarly, South India doesn't feature in the manner it should.
