The Importance of Conspiracy in Religious Studies
Ra's is important questions for religious studies scholars in particular about how we're dealing with our subjects, the research that we're doing and who we're collaborating with. And I think where she was behind the conspiratuality curve, interestingly enough, was in believing that doing something in mainstream academia would be worth something. Today, a conspiratuality type person would lump academia itself in with the great conspiracies. So I think that's understandable. But that is to say now, I think she would probably change her approach there,. But anyway, it's a really great introduction.
