What Is the Normal Reaction to Someone That Close to You?
The Lord had an ancient people and then had to restore the truth to another people because that ancient people walked away from him. And yet how does he feel about that ancient people? Those are his people. He deeply loves them. Even though you pierced me, even though you wounded me, I am not going to turn my back on you. That's what makes these verses so beautiful.
